Call me crazy but I just thought that after all the money I spent on the equipment it just didn’t seem right using cheap Radioshack cables.

You were doing great until you mentioned “Class C”. I have Type 2 and 4 and 6.
I didn’t go overboard, but I’m comfortable with the decision I made. Any HT system performance would most likely not be affected by changing speaker wire. I have only tried a few different brands so can’t offer comparisions. Zip aueioquest is probably more prone to oxidation over time but that is about only the down side.
My question is simple, I am upgrading speaker cable and I am considering the Audioquest Bedrock in a full range configuration for now. Call me crazy but there is a a huge difference. I figure cable is Ok to buy if the next best upgrade you can determine would be times more expensive than the cable to make a system improvement.
I agree there is a lot of BS out there, but that does not mean that there are not valid concepts out there. Posted November 11, I wouldn’t deter anyone from this prodcut, as I feel it’s a true “bang for your buck.

Can I tell a difference? Yes it is stiff and really if a guy knows how to strip heavy wire without damage the stiffness works to your advantage. Oh, and if it’s any consolation, Stereophile rated Radioshack’s general speaker-wire as Class-C or something for cables. Posted November 17, Lately I had been hearing about people using electrical wire for their audipquest wire.

THe Type 6 is for a rainy day. At that price, I don’t think you can go wrong.
I had been using double runs of Zudioquest 12 gauge fine multi strand speaker wire and it worked. As one dealer I know put it, “it does not offend While I agree Audioquest generally over-charges for their product, their product isn’t bad.
