I’m not sure though. Plus there’s the modifications I made in addition to Flail’s work- like the widened mandibles and different rear engine. Main body The main body was built out of the bits that go around the outer edge of the Falcon. Now I can try and “flail” mine, too! No “What’s it worth” poststhese are only allowed in the weekly What is it worth Wednesday post.
The only solution I could think of would be to place all the bags back in the box, with the instructions and any other parts that were included and weigh the box.
Cockpit pieces attach to this wall. The rounded door jams I guess their like door jams make it look so much more like the real Falcon. There’s no good resource for bag-specific information on LEGO sets. It’s why I did end up making the LDD file- at least this way the groundwork is laid out a bit clearer though even still one has to put up with LDD’s horrendous instructions- if I had the time I might consider posting a continuation of Flail’s instructions, but man it’s a lot of work.

And offhand, I know there are a few discrepancies in the LDD model versus Flail’s, mostly to do with illegal connections and collision errors. Pardon my LDD ignorance, but is there a way to get a list of all the additional bricks I would need in order to make these modifications using LDD?
The other big changes are a much more detailed interior and structural changes throughout to make the model sturdier and less gap-y a major issue withthough not nearly as bad as it got in the recent Falcon. Or click right button to only see posts with that flair.

No links to web stores except shop. Main body detail Structural strength was added using the lng Technic pieces. There are a lot of terrific screenshots, so it’s not inconceivable that a insstructions could extrapolate the instructions just based on those, but it does look like a ton of work. I want to do something similar except with LDRAW, but it looks like only about instructiobs of the instructions are posted. It will be a lot of work, but it will be fun work.
I was wondering if anyone knew how many sealed bags there should be in this set. This is VERY cool. Or, do you happen to have such a list available?
